For the A-Level exams, he scored 4A*s and was awarded the Outstanding Cambridge Learner for 3 categories - Top in the world for AS Mathematics, A2 Mathematics and A2 Chemistry. In the SPM exams, he scored 10A+s and received the KPM Bursary scholarship to pursue his pre-university studies.
- Between graduating and the commencement of his housemanship training, Brian worked as a teaching fellow at his university where he assisted in delivering medical education under various settings such as clinal bedside and seminars.
